Stone Cold Philosophy

The obligation of self actualization

In this generation, cultural phenomena need to be examined from a philosophical perspective. With this in mind, underneath—the beer-drinking, cursing, and violence—it is to be understood that Stone Cold Steve Austin operates off of the philosophy of how to live out the obligation of self-actualization. Stone Cold being a self actualized individual illustrates how to live out the obligation of self-actualization. Stone Colds wild antics, profanity-laced tirades, and offensive gestures speaking to the part of the human psyche that needs to be guided by philosophy: the reptilian brain. The reptilian brain being where our primitive emotions are stored. That said, Austin’s influence as a cultural phenomenon cannot be ignored. Stone Cold Steve Austin— the most popular wrestler of all time—the "Texas Rattlesnake" is the perfect depiction of taking on the obligation of self-actualization. All of us needing to learn how to channel our inner "Texas Rattlesnake" to reach the ultimate destination of self-actualization. The knowledge of this obligation not only being found on ancient scrolls, but also on your T.V. at home. The same can be said for knowledge which is never found at the foot of your psychiatrist desk, but rather in an understanding of what's beating behind your chest. Thus A Stone Cold philosophy makes self-actualization tangible, through the deconstruction of the philosophy of Stone Cold Steve Austin.

“No one is coming to help; you must depend on yourself. You must remove the idea from your mind that no child shall be left behind, and that time is on your side. Understand the opposite to be true, people will be left behind, and time is not on your side. You are 100% in the driver seat to make your life of your own design. It is up to you to reach your destination by taking on the obligation of self-actualization. This isn't just cold… its stone cold ”

“The bottom line is I did what I did so be it.

Some people could understand it.

Some people aren’t going to understand it.

But that's just the way it is.

I’m not here to be for everybody, I'm not here to sell out. I'm here to be what I am. ”

reviews

“Read this book if you like Stone Cold or self-Actualization. The book is an easy read with great insight into the personal philosophy of the Texas Rattlesnake himself. The viewpoints shown in this book are easy to understand and the back-story help pushes the message across. This book does not sugarcoat the fact that one must work hard to achieve their goals. This book was worth the price and I cannot recommend this one enough.”

“ I loved the book. It was short, sweet, and to the point. It lets you see his points from many others perspective, including his own. Along with backing it up as well. I am not even a stone cold fan but I definitely became one after reading this book. It was insightful, motivating, and entertaining. I love how the author gives you a peek inside of where he stands on the issue of self - actualization . Highly recommended. Bought two so I can share the good news with someone else.”
